BIO1000 is designed to introduce students to biological concepts from a modern and classical perspective, and to equip students with the tools necessary to begin critical analysis of biology. These skills empower majors and non-majors to form a foundation for future scientific exploration and become educated consumers of science. Students will also gain fundamental general biology knowledge necessary to build upon for advanced study in biological sciences in future courses and careers.
